The government retains the authority to acquire any land or property lacking a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) at any time without compensation. Approval of Governor's Consent is mandatory for any acquisition or mortgage involving a parcel or property with a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O).
All ground rents and other transactions related to land are to be remitted to the Government's TSA Account. Please refer to the guidelines below for detailed instructions. Following payment, bring evidence of payment to the NIGIS Agency, where you can collect the original receipt from the Revenue Desk Officer. Additionally, submit a copy to the Land Registry Unit to ensure the update of your property records.
